Lt. Gen. Raymond T. Odierno, III Corps Commanding General, and Fort Hood\'s oldest Soldier, and Spc. Logan Jones, III Corps' youngest Soldier, prepare to make the ceremonial first cut into the Army's birthday cake. The Army tradition is to have the oldest and youngest personnel on post make the first cut. "Today we are celebrating 233 years of service, 233 years of love for our country, 233 years of sacrifice and 233 years of selfless service," said Odierno to kick off the celebration. "We are recognizing those that came before us."
